Question by questiontime: ALPHA TOCOPHERYL ACETATE (VITAMIN E) ? animal product?
Are there are animal based product in this baby food (GERBER®
GRADUATES® Banana Puffs or any other puffs)?
I noticed an ingredient ” ALPHA TOCOPHERYL ACETATE (VITAMIN E)”, which
is doubtful for me as I know vitamin e is mostly animal based?
We are vegeterians and would like to make sure that our baby doesn’t
eat any animal products.
Thanks for helping,

Alot of the Vitamin E around is made from grain oils or seed oils like sunflower and safflower, I have never heard of animal based Vitamin E, now if you take capsules in gel form they could be made of animal gels, but the majority is not.
